Oh, I derped. But unfortunately all the derped shots I got of myself were kind of in that uncanny valley of "...Do you think she's intending to do that with her face? O.o" and not "Hah! Derp! :3" When I wore this costume for the second time I made myself a derpy-eye masquerade mask to hold in front of my face for photos, but then I forgot to grab any photos for myself. Maybe third try's a charm if I ever wear it again.
Aww :3 Has she watched the new My Little Pony series that's airing on The Hub? (Psst, you can find it on youtube, too, "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic") - I wouldn't be surprised if she gve you a blank stare if you showed her my costume though, the character I'm anthropomorphizing is a minor background character that fans of the show noticed and made into an internet meme due to her eyes being all derped and wonky in one shot.
I honestly don't know if she's watched it. She has Hub, and she's crazy about anything animal related, so she does tend to watch the animal-themed shows. She does have a legion if the toys, though, which she plays with amongst her Littlest Petshop toys, Dragon figurines, and a plastic Tiger figurine she calls "Mysterious Tiger."
Hah! Thanks, yeah, I made the costume in honor of Derpy-day on March 2nd, but hadn't gotten around to uploading the photos until today. Unfortunately, the pictures I took with my eyes crossed didn't quite look Derpy enough to be intentional. When I re-wore this costume at Sakuracon 2011 I made a "mask" of sorts on a stick with an image of derpy's derped eyes that I could pose with.
